Central Okanagan Foundation for Youth (COFFY) and the United Way Gennext are pleased to announce that we are partnering to offer Youth Initiative Grants of up to $2000!
These grants are available to young people up to age 25 who are partnering with an organization to create positive change in their local community. The partner organization can be a school, church or charity. Youth must reside in either the Central or South Okanagan Similkameen in order to apply.
Our 2015 deadline has passed.
Please watch for January 2016 intake deadline!
COFFY and Gennext must be accountable to its donors to ensure that monies distributed through our Grant’s Program are indeed used for the purposes they were intended. For this reason, a Grant Evaluation is required to be completed within one year of your organization receiving the funds.
(L to R) COFFY members: Lisa Guidi, Désirée Henke, Jenna Gall
What is COFFY?
The Central Okanagan Foundation for Youth (COFFY) committee is made up of young adults age 15 - 25. Since its establishment in 2002, COFFY has been building an endowment fund with the COF. The income generated is used to support youth projects and programs in the Central Okanagan (Lake Country to Peachland). Specifically, COFFY wishes to support projects that are youth-driven, collaborative and have a direct beneficial impact on young people living in the Central Okanagan.
