The Fire
Sky, please bring us more rain,
This fire is causing too much pain.
Make this over with once and for all,
The flames are rising too high and too tall.
I hate it, I hate it this fires too mean,
I hate it, I hate our forests not green.
Animals, people rushed out of their shelters,
Everyone scattered helter-skelter.
Smokey skies and teary eyes,
Everywhere the grass is fried.
These are words that came out of my heart,
because this fire is too mean and too smart.
