The application period is now open for the Evan Guthrie Scholarship! Evan's award supports local student-athletes in the Central Okanagan. "Over the years, I’ve received substantial support towards my athletic and academic pursuits and now, as a full-time athlete and part-time student at Okanagan College, I am looking to help student-athletes alleviate some financial stress in order for the athlete to fully concentrate on their sport and academic goals." Thanks so much to Vancouver Foundation for hosting this gathering and creating a space for us to share, learn, and collaborate with each other.

We are building up to the national launch of Vital Signs® 2017 on October 3rd! This year, instead of doing a full report, we will be doing 6 Vital Signs® Briefs. Each brief will cover a specific topic area, with one brief being released every 2 months. On August 23rd, we hosted a Vital Conversations gathering of more than 40 regional thought leaders, representing a wide variety of perspectives. All of the participants had the opportunity to contribute their thoughts to each of the topics that the upcoming Briefs will address. We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to all those who took time from their busy schedules to participate. Stay tuned for more information on Vital Signs® 2017 leading up to the launch on October 3rd! Photo credit: Candice Johnson Photography
