As our region responds to this evolving situation, the Central Okanagan Foundation remains committed to supporting our communities through recovery and rebuilding efforts.
The Wildfire Response Fund has been established to provide a trusted way for donors to support local organizations responding to the immediate and long-term needs of those affected by wildfires throughout the Central Okanagan.

How Your Donation Helps
Donations to the Wildfire Response Fund will support registered charities and qualified organizations providing assistance in areas such as:
- Emergency relief and recovery services
- Food security and essential supplies
- Mental health and wellness supports
- Assistance for displaced individuals and families
- Community recovery and rebuilding initiatives
- Other emerging needs identified as recovery efforts continue
The Foundation works closely with community partners to ensure funds are directed where they are needed most.
Our Commitment
The Central Okanagan Foundation has a long history of responding when our community and neighbouring communities need it most.
Following the devastating 2023 wildfires, the Foundation distributed more than $186,000 to local organizations providing emergency relief and recovery services throughout the Central Okanagan. Those funds supported food security, emergency assistance, Indigenous organizations, housing supports, and other critical community needs.
Building on that experience, the Foundation remains ready to respond quickly and responsibly as new needs emerge.
