Ways to Give

At the Central Okanagan Foundation, it is possible to give back to your community now and leave a legacy for the future. We have both endowment funds and flow-through funds.

An endowment is a fund where money is donated, pooled, and permanently invested. The investment returns earned are used to support the causes defined by our donors and our granting committees in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.

A flow-through fund is directed back into the community for immediate impact.

Gifts can be made in the form of:

  • Cash
  • Pledges over a number of years
  • Stocks or bonds
  • Property
  • Bequests
  • Life insurance memorial gifts
  • Transfer of existing trust funds
  • Establishment of an endowment

There is almost no limit on how you can give or how your gifts can be distributed.

We are pleased to be able to accept shares in kind through your investment advisor of choice. Please complete the attached form and follow the provided instructions.
